Volatile Baby is a female trio based in Charlotte, NC. Gina Stewart of the group played Carlene's grandmother, Maybelle Carter, in the "Wildwood Flowers" stage production, which included the Carter Family standard, "50 Miles Of Elbow Room." Carlene sings the second verse on this great track, which was first heard on Volatile Baby's debut CD "Traveling Light" (produced by Don Dixon), and also on their next release, "Backroads," a collection of early country music classics.
